According to Chinese boiller operation standard GB 1576-2001(for low pressure boiler) stipulated,   that boiler capacity over 2 t steam/hr the hardness of make-up water should be less than 0.03mmol/L.  Boiler capacity greater than 6 t/hr should be equiped with mechnical oxygen scavenger.
